We have recently been awarded two honours in the Negotiator’s annual prestigious awards Ceremony for 2015 that took place in November at The Grand Ballroom at the Hilton on Park Lane, London. Ryder and Dutton were shortlisted for two categories the North West Agency of the Year and notably Large Estate Agency of the Year 2015.
To make the shortlist again was an honour, however we were delighted when Ryder and Dutton were voted not only the Best Agency in the North West, but we also went on to win the main award of the evening and were crowned Large Agency of the Year 2015. This follows on from 2014 when we were also awarded Best agent in the North West/North East category and Large Estate Agent of the year.
To scoop the coveted National award for Estate Agency of the Year two years running is a phenomenal achievement. Traditionally the award has been retained by agents in London and the South of the country, so for a Northern based firm to be recognised by leading industry experts as the best agent in the country is an outstanding achievement.
We have also been voted best agent in the North West for the third consecutive year by Relocation Agent Network at their Awards Ceremony at the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel last week.
Ryder & Dutton are Regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) who assume responsibility for promoting and enforcing the highest professional standards within the industry and consumers can be assured of the highest standards of customer service
As a firm of Estate Agents, Letting Agents, Valuers, Auctioneers and Property Management specialists, with a nineteen office network across Northern and Eastern sectors of Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, our membership of the RICS is of paramount importance to us. It provides a foundation on which to build our business as we strive to adhere to the provisions of the RICS UK Residential Property Standards (The Blue Book) and train all of our staff following this guidance.
Membership of the RICS also provides us with a training platform for our Valuers and Managers and we now have two Fellows, five members and seven Assoc members with further four branch managers working towards this qualification.
Staff training has a high priority for us here at Ryder and Dutton. Director, Richard Powell said ‘We are committed to providing our staff with the depth of knowledge needed for them to provide an effective and professional service to our clients in all areas of our business and the Royal Intuition of Chartered Surveyors provides us with the training programmes to help ensure the highest standards are met. We are hoping they will extend this further by providing training and qualifications at a base level to encourage new entrants to the profession. This is important for today and also for future development particularly in view of the improving property market.’
